X-rays taken Tuesday night on the left knee of injured UK basketball star Nerlens Noel were negative, and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI Wednesday morning.

Noel was injured in the second half of UK's loss to Florida Tuesday night when his left leg awkwardly hit the goal support as he was attempting to make a defensive play.

UK officials said they would release more updates on Noel's injury as they become available.
