Four Kentucky men's basketball signees were selected to take part in the annual Jordan Brand Classic this spring.
UK Fall signees, Aaron Harrison (Ft. Bend, Texas), Andrew Harrison (Ft. Bend, Texas), Marcus Lee (Antioch, Calif.) and James Young (Rochester, Mich.) will take part in the annual event in Brooklyn, N.Y., at the Barclays Center on April 13. The game will air live on ESPN2.
Since John Calipari's arrival as the head coach of the Wildcats, 13 former or current UK players have earned spots in the Jordan Classic. DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Archie Goodwin, Terrence Jones, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Brandon Knight, Doron Lamb, Nerlens Noel, Daniel Orton, Alex Poythress, Marquis Teague, John Wall and Kyle Wiltjer all took part in the annual game.
Aaron Harrison will suit up for the East squad, while Andrew Harrison, Lee and Young will all play on the West team.
Andrew Harrison is rated as the No. 3 overall player and the top point guard in the 2013 class by ESPN. Aaron Harrison holds the No. 5 spot with Young coming in at No. 6. Harrison and Young are one-and-two in the shooting guard rankings, respectively. Lee has been tabbed at No. 30 overall and 11th at his power forward position.
The Jordan Brand Classic game in 2013 will mark the 12th annual contest. Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc., selected a total of 22 players to take part in the game. UK's four signees were the most of any school.
