Joker Phillips hired Greg Nord to be the special teams and tight ends coach to replace Steve Ortmayer.

Now it looks like Ortmayer's other position, as assistant head coach, has also been filled.

In UK's media guide, David Turner is listed as the assistant head coach.

Turner was brought in this offseason by Joker from Mississippi State to coach the defensive line.

Turner has a ton of coaching experience and was actually at Kentucky once before from 1993-94 when Joker was also an assistant at UK

The two have a great relationship, one of the reasons Turner wanted to come back to Lexington.
