For the second time this season Rajon Rondo has been suspended by the NBA.

Rondo will be suspended for tonight's game against the New York Knicks. The suspension comes after he bumped into an official in Boston's 89-81 win over Atlanta on Saturday. Rondo then failed to cooperate with a league investigation into the incident.

This isn't the first time Rondo has made contact with an official. The former Kentucky Wildcat was suspended a game last year for bumping an official in the Celtics playoff series against the Hawks.

In November, Rondo was suspended for two games for his part in a scuffle between the Celtics and Brooklyn Nets.

Rondo is averaging 13.2 points and 11.3 assists in 29 games.
