Sophomore running back Josh Clemons, who showed signs of really good things last season, looks more and more like he'll redshirt this year.
Clemons hurt his knee last season, had surgery, and hasn't been able to recover the way he or the staff had hoped.
Joker Phillips said Thursday that it's all but a done deal that Clemons will sit this season out and not burn a year of eligibility.
Phillips feels good with the running backs he's got in Jonathan George, Raymond Sanders and Dy'shawn Mobley. He also believes CoShik Williams will be able to contribute more this season once he's healthy, though Joker said CoShik won't play against Florida.
