Cal isn't changing his way of doing business. He wants talent, and doesn't care if he has to deal with a lot of freshman. But with Cal, there is a but...

"My concern is that we are very young again," says Cal.

"We going to have four freshman and two sophomores in our top six. So that makes us very young."

Cal meant to say top seven. You can't forget about Darius Miller, a senior who is not only in great shape, his focus for his final season is very strong.

"What I like is our length and our athleticism. When you have length, ooh, and speed and quickness, ooh."

"If you have bulk and all that well. When you have speed and quickness and length and the other guy has bulk, and it is basketball, there are officials out there. There is only so much you can do."

There are players who admit there is going to be pressure.

There are players who say bring on the pressure because that means we are good and we want to win the national championship.

And then, you have Cal who tries to stay away from that word.

"You do right by these kids, they drag you to what you are trying to do which is put up banners. And that's how I feel. And I just think the pressure here whoever is in this seat to win. One of the things I will tell you I don't take this thing as life or death. And the reason I don't take it as life or death because you die a lot."

Cal is into relationships. He calls Denny Crum a great coach who won national championships with unconventional teams that had similar kinds of athletes.

"And he and I talked about it. I even asked him about guarding the post the other day. We were talking. He gave me some ideas about guarding the post and how they did it. But he had unconventional teams and they won."

Twenty years ago, if I would have told you that the Kentucky coach would get advise from Denny Crum, how many True Blue fans would say, no way. Not going to happen.

To Cal, who just by being Cal, he gets some people upset.

"I'm just coaching my team. That's what I do. I work here at the University of Kentucky and coach my team. That seems to aggravate a lot of people."

That's a team with a ton of talent.
