    AJ Reed is on his way to Class-A ball with the Quad Cities River Bandits.

    The former Kentucky Wildcat played 34 games with the Houston Astros' short season A-ball team, Tri-Cities. Reed batted .306 with five home runs (including a grand slam) and 30 runs batted in.
